Rice Krispies Treatmaking
The Ask
Rice Krispies asked my team to develop a commerce campaign to drive purchase of their cereal for multiple occasions throughout the year.
The Insight
We tapped into an insight that parents think making homemade goodies is all the same - complicated, messy, and easier done on their own, without the kids. But we found that creating together isn’t about creating perfection, its about using imagination and creating memories.
The Challenge
Our creative challenge was to get parents and kids to create together with Rice Krispies cereal by positioning treat making as memory making.
Visual System
Our goal was to showcase how fun and easy treatmaking could be with Rice Krispies. So we selected recipes that are festive, but simple, capturing kids participating in each step. To gain brand recognition and equity, we chose to make the Rice Krispies blue a large part of the artwork to gain ownership of the recipe and occasion.

When consumers searched for recipes on Pinterest and online, we wanted to inspire them with delicious imagery while also alluding to the fun process.
